Have a weird V-Day!

Love it or hate it, it’s Valentine’s Day.

According to “circumstances,” it can be one of the most cheerful holidays…

… other times, not so much.

Perhaps you’re a bit sad this year because you’re missing those good old NECCO candy conversation hearts. You’be undoubtedly heard they are MIA. No worries though, while NECCO is gone for good, their iconic candies are slated to be resurrected next year.

Besides, in the meantime, Brach’s does sell something very similar to them.

So, rejoice, and have some fun. Whether or not you have a significant other, go ahead and treat yourself to a flower, cupcake or other decadence to put a smile on your face.

Then maybe kickback, relax and enjoy a holiday appropriate movie. According to your taste, you could splurge on going to a theater to see this year’s obligatory rom-com that’s been released just in time for the holiday. That would be Isn’t It Romantic which is an odd mashup of I Feel Pretty, the Pitch Perfects and Groundhog Day.

You could also stay home and go “full Hallmark” or simply watch Valentine’s Day.

Alternatively, you could watch something a bit off the beaten path.

If you’re in the Boston area and in the mood for weird, you could even arrange to have pickles and Black Hearts flavored Polar Seltzer as your movie snack 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day!
