3D Issues

This site errs on the side of believing that 3D, 360°, AR, VR and MR media can be a good thing in “some cases.” However, that does not mean that there are no important issues and downsides to consider when dealing with these technologies. This is particularly true when it comes to introducing them to children and adolescents. The questions surrounding the physical, psychological and moral impacts of these technologies are incredibly important, and there are a plethora of unanswered questions. This site is on the same page with the majority of the rest of the community with the belief that we should be extremely cautious about when/how/what we introduce these types of media to children and adolescents while also being mindful of the potential impact on adult as well. Beyond that, it is important to stay informed about current thinking on the issues. Along those lines, this page will be updated as new information is available.
