The PlayStation VR (PSVR) headset is a relative low end, late-comer to the fray to compete with the much higher-end Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The headset alone costs $399 if you already have the PS4 plus the required camera and Move Controllers. If you don’t have them, then the bundle with the camera and controllers will cost you $499. Of course, if you don’t already have a PS4, then that’s another $299, bringing the total for the entire system to roughly $700. Here is a very honest, not entirely positive review of the headset from GameSpot.
