I came across a fun find on my weekly fishing expedition for 360° videos, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a fairly unusual publicity stunt.
Here’s the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s recent performance of Borodin whilst inside a passenger capsule on the London Eye.

It was an odd way of promoting classical music, but it’s also hard to deny that it was a cool way to virtually experience the London Eye and a view of London’s skyline.
As is always the case, one unusual 360° video invariably leads to another.
Here’s the next 360° video of the LA Philharmonic playing Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.

Notice that video was, appropriately enough, filmed at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
That’s because the video was clearly paying homage to Disney’s Fantasia.
It’s considered a “classic” for many reasons, and just one of those is the role that classical music played in the iconic film.

Another oddity I found in this week’s 360° video haul was a clip of the BBC Concert Orchestra playing the Theme From Jaws.
