Have you ever noticed that most months tend to be associated with certain adjectives.
October is spooky, December is festive, and so on …
I think of September as corny!
One obvious reason for this is because it’s when corn is harvested and readily available.
Another reason is because September is usually the month of the Corn Moon — this year it’s September 7th (this Sunday).
Here’s a story about it.

This Corn Moon is special because it is going to coincide with a lunar eclipse (Blood Moon).
Here is a video and a link to a story about the phenomena.
It isn’t going to be visible in the US, but some of you are in places where it will be a sight to see.
September is also when I tend to notice stories about corn mazes popping up in the news.
Here’s one recent example from my local news.
Mass Appeal: Ward’s Berry Farm Sunflower Maze (Polikseni Manxhari & Amaka Ubaka, 7 News Boston)
Here’s a brief 360° video by Bryan Ensign that will give you a sense of what it is like to visit one.

Finally, here is a link that’s somewhat obligatory at this point.

So you see, September is corny … or maybe it’s just me that is 😉
Have a great September!
